This directory contains a subset of University of Texas Department
of Computer Sciences Technical Reports.
The file named abstrax contains the report number, author, date of publication,
and abstract of each report.
The file named index contains the report number and author.
Permission is granted at this time for the operations and uses listed
below. However, this permission is non-transferable and is subject to
revocation on a report-by-report basis, due to possible copyright
transfers that are normal in the publication process. Any additional
copyright restrictions are noted in the reports themselves. Default
permissions are for anonymous ftp, electronic viewing, and single-copy
printing. Permissible uses are research and browsing. Specifically
prohibited are SALES of any copy, whether electronic or hardcopy, of
any of these reports for any purpose. Also prohibited is copying,
excerpting or extensive quoting of any report in another work without
the written permission of one of the report's authors.
Technical report file names in this directory consist
of the prefix "tr" followed
by the technical report number, and finally a suffix indicating the
file format. Technical report numbers consist of two numbers, the
left-most one representing the year. The file format is either
a postscript file (e.g., tr92-06.ps.), or a compressed postscript
file (e.g., tr92-06.ps.Z). If the file is compressed, you should,
after you have ftpd it to your site, uncompress it using the Unix command
uncompress <file-name>.
If you wish to order hard copy of any of these technical reports, there is a
minimal fee. The prices are listed below.

41-50 pages $2.50
51-60 pages $3.00
61 or more pages $5.00
